I've kept this letter to the editor from my local paper pinned...
to my refridge for the last 10 years.
I paused again today to reflect on the optimism of a depression era survivor that foresaw the republican attack on Social Security back in the Gingrich days. As usual I felt the welling of tears.

Unfortunately, the author's name has been lost for some time.

2. Great letter Arthur wrote back then, hope he's still around and
will re-submit it to every 'newspaper' in America.

3. What a great LTTE.
It's too bad you can't get in contact with that guy and tell him your story about keeping his ltte for 10 years.

4. Wow!
That's a great letter. I hope you kept his full name - maybe you could get his take on today's catastrophe.

I just cannot understand the greed, and the stupidity. What do they think they're achieving?

6. Very poignant - how many people know that our elderly could be
allowed to suffer like that? How many younger Americans stop to think of how bush's stupid mangling of ... EVERYTHING! will affect them? Maybe we can just double and triple up on how many people we all provide for and have living under our roofs. Be sure to save enough to take care of your parents and grandparents, and any of their unfortunate friends who have no family.
