I want my Dean and eat Clark, too!
Edited on Thu Sep-11-03 03:32 PM by FlashHarry
Dammit! If Clark runs, I don't know what the hell I'll do come primary time! I'm having a tough enough time as it is deciding between Dean and Kerry. With Clark in the mix, all bets are off.

If he runs, and it ends up being a Dean v. Clark sprint to the convention, I hope the losing candidate's grass-roots resources will go to the victor. Because, come November----anyone but Bush!

On edit: My worst fear is that Dean and Clark cancel each other out, letting *gasp* Lieberman squeak through at the end!

5. Primary is May 11, 2004.
By then the nominee will have been selected which means you will be voting for Wesley Clark.

3. What would you think about a Dean/Clark ticket?
I read this morning in my newspaper they are meeting this weekend in California to possibly discuss this. I think it would be an extremely tough ticket for us. ItÕs exciting.

4. I like both too. Why don't you let the primary process work...
and let the best man win. It's win-win if we end up with either one. We still don't know how the General will do on the stump. He'll have to be able to connect, but from what I've seen of him, I don't think it'll be a problem.

6. Aaaack!
"My worst fear is that Dean and Clark cancel each other out, letting *gasp* Lieberman squeak through at the end!"

Now THAT's a scary thought. Bush is definitely MORE scary, though.

7. Wait for Clark to prove himself as campaigner
... and then vote for the one you think has a better chance of beating Bush and GOP absolutism. I think Clark represents a huge potential for Democrats, one that goes beyond the (vital) aim of defeating the Bush regime. But it's still just a potential. He has to be able to campaign.

8. Clark is a telegenic but totally bogus fraud.
This piece is from a few years ago, but it's not as if Clark has accomplished anything of significance during the interval... (Except, of course, for all those talking-head photo ops on cable news...)

There was another good piece about him, yesterday, on www.commondreams.org, by Zoltan Grossman

9. If it came down to Dean Vs. Clark I would be overjoyed.
They like each other and would join the ticket of whoever wins, probably.

Not to mention they are both mighty fine candidates.
