4. he's still much lower in my approval rating
It is good news to see the rest of the country waking up to this loser. He should be sent straight to the unemployment line (we wish huh). We know better, he'll just join poppy at Carlyle and rake in the billions on contracts he's setting up now.

14. Hey, Sonia - maybe it'd be a good thing!
Let's all remember - everything bush touches turns to shit. Everything. Consider the three oil companies he headed, Spectrum 7, Arbusto, and Harken. His reverse-Midas Touch took those companies down the toilet. Also, they traded Sammy Sosa from the Texas Rangers - on his watch.

So, with the business acumen he's obviously demonstrated time and time again, maybe we oughta let the asshole go to Carlyle and sit on their board of directors. And let the Bush Jinx begin! Best way in the world to get a company started - circling the drain!

7. WOW!
Almost hard to believe, but there it is....45%! Don't think anything's gonna help either - starting another war or allowing a terrorist attack isn't gonna do it.

8. Zogby
Edited on Thu Sep-11-03 04:22 PM by TheYellowDog
combined the fair and poor categories to get 54%. This poll could be incorrect with the public's true opinion, I'm just saying. Zogby uses four categories (excellent, good, fair, poor) instead of just approve/disapprove. People who give Bush a fair rating do not necessarily disapprove of him. Once the Galluop drops below 50%, I will rest assured.

9. Yay!!
I'd like to take a moment for a big yay!!

No for a bit of a downer. Remember that animals are always most dangerous when backed in to a corner. If the Bushies feel they are really threatened, that is when they feel they have nothing to lose. This could bean it could get a whole lot WORSE.

13. Even more encouraging, Gallup has him at 52%
The reason I say this is more encouraging is because traditionally Gallup always polls him high..

16. you know what is so sweet about this?
zogby was rushs favorite polling service during the last election. he sighted zogby over and over about how well bush was doing. although bush stole the election ,zogby`s numbers were not that far off. i think he had gore ahead by the margin of error..then rush dumped zogby for some reason and never mentioned him again. 45% is reall bad numbers esp. if the economy doesn`t pick up. but we have a year to go...

19. All that matters is '04

Just as his lofty numbers meant nothing 3 months ago, so to do these numbers mean anything.

However, I must admit the optimism in this thread is warranted, because we've been wondering when people would wake from their slumber...

21. Confirmed by the always inflated Gallup poll today of 52%.
Gallop is always about 5%+ higher for Chimpy than the others. So Zogby was no fluke.

Pack your bags Moron.

22. Diebold will fix His Lowness' little problem.
And if all else fails judges in corrupt places can always be counted on. And just for extra insurance, a brand new terrorist attack necessitating the US suspend all elections and move to permanent military state status, will do the trick. No way do I think Junior is leaving our stolen White House without a fight.

Not saying I don't agree with you. I tend to believe Whistle ass and his merry band of thieves have every intention of doing WHATEVER it takes to steal the Presidency again, just saying, reading your post was a major league downer. :-(
