HELLO AMERICA!! Where Have our Soldiers Gone?
We seem to have Thousands unaccounted for. "Number of US Troops in Iraq at 116,000"

http://customwire.ap.org/dynamic/stories/I/IRAQ_US_TROOPS?SITE=OHCIP&SECTION=HOME&TEMPLATE=DEFAULT

<snip>As recently as last week, the number of U.S. soldiers in Iraq was believed to be between 125,000 and 130,000. The coalition spokesman, briefing reporters on condition of anonymity, did not explain the reduced figure, but his disclosure comes as the U.N. Security Council considers a U.S. draft resolution calling for a multinational force to join the American-led coalition.

My best guess is these poor souls have fallen into the awol/rove spin machine never to be accounted for..... :(

1. No big surprise.
When you are in the military under this president you simply don't exist.

2. Per CNN
Over half of our Armed Forces are spread in 120 countries excluding the US. They never mentioned Reservists which makes me wonder if those figures were included too.

4. Wounded that got sent home?
I think it was the Washington Post last week that carried an article that said the number of wounded sent home is estimated to be over 5,000 already. These soldiers are not counted in the Pentagon's publicized casualty and/or wounded count. Walter Reed has been full for months now....they are having to rent hotel rooms for the overflow. The 5,000 estimate includes amputees, those with physical illness (like pneumonia) and mental illness cases. If nobody knows what the real total is, and the Pentagon is unwilling to release the numbers, the total could be much higher than 5,000.
