I'm not sure the domain name you selected is the best choice...

But I know what it is like to be an open-minded, progressive young man in a school dominated by conservative values. I went to high school in Modesto, CA (here in the heart of the Central Valley - or "Limbaughland," as I like to call it) during the height of the Reagan years.

Don't ever let yourself become discouraged or feel too lonely. When you go on to college, which I must insist you do, you will find yourself among a much more diverse group of people and you will find many people with whom you can relate politically, and in many other ways. No matter what they tell you, high school is the weirdest experience you will ever have. Everything will make a lot more sense once you are out of that sick, twisted environment.

And by the way, if you are Anthony, stay away from Shayn's woman. Been there, done that. Nothing but grief.
