Any updates on the alleged meeting between Condi and Jack Van Impe?

A while back there was an article on MSNBC that reported on Reverend Jack Van Impe's claim that Condaleeza Rice met with him to discuss current events and their relation to apocalyptic scenarios that he believes are about to take place. According to the article, White House officials were unable to confirm whether the meeting took place or not but said they would look into the matter.

Well? Have The White House officials looked into the allegation that Van Impe met with Condi? Has there been any follow up to this weird scandal?

I don't think it can be true, but I know it probably is--frightening.

2. Van Impe talked about it on his show Sunday

Although it sounded like he was talking about something yet to take place, so I don't know if its happened or not. But, according to Van Impe, it was definitely on, and he was asking his audience to pray for him (to help the bush regime form its MidEast policy).

Pretty sure this meeting is for real.

It was some sort of a gossip section amd I tell myself it has to be another one of Van Impe's delusions (mostly because I really want it not to be true).

But let's put it this way, it seems (I haven't seen the actual text on Van Impe's web site --perhaps it can be found on http://archive.org/) that it was accurately reported by MSNBC that Van Impe made these claims so the question boils down to how much credibility Van Impe has. While there's very little that can surprise me about this administration nowadays (being a pessimist, which usually helps a lot because circumstances are almost always better than you expect, doesn't seem help with Bush), the truth is that Van Impe has zero credibility with me (and, for that matter, should have zero credibility to any sane person --not that I'm making any claims of belonging in the grouping of sane people). There are, however, some hints (O.K. that word might be understating) that the Bush might be a genuine religious nut.
