Does this look like Osama to you? Are they really hawking this as NEW?

Looks like an Afghani actor playing Tevye in the Kabul Starlight Dinner Theatre production of FIDDLER ON THE ROOF. Or a Pakistani thespian assaying role of Fagin in the Porous Borders Players' production of OLIVER!

What do you think? Can they really be expecting us to believe THIS is Osama?

1. I think Hitchens may be right.

He said on Colin Quinn's show (!) that Osama's been dead for a year. Think about it; it's pretty hard to believe that he wouldn't have offered up some sort of 'proof of life' video during the Iraq war. A video of him holding up yesterdays Herald Tribune would be the best salt-on-the-wound attack on BushCo, but he didn't.

I think he's sunbathing by a lake of fire in Hell...

5. Wasn't there an audio tape just prior to the Invasion?

I know that the US confirmed the authenticity but didn't other non-US agencies (InterPol) more or less agree that it was Osama?

I personally have no idea of his condition but it wouldn't surprise me if he was still alive.

There's also a good reason why he hasn't released much new material too. There aren't many "safe" ways to transfer the tapes anymore. He probably is isolated as well.

I was looking for an old picture ( on link ) and although it is too easy to jump to conclusions, I would say the lips on this new photo look different as do his ears.

I would say more to the point is where is the dialysis machine he is meant to need with him all the time?

This guy has a much rounder face than Bin Laden. Hell, I went to high school with a guy who could pass for Bin Laden better than this clown. If I knew how to get in touch with him, I'd ask him if the CIA ever asked him to grow a beard and make a video for them.
