FDR In Statistical Dead Heat With Bush
Draft FDR: FDR in Statistical Dead Heat with Bush, Would Crush All Democrats in Zogby/Draft FDR Poll

Washington, D.C., Sept. 11 -- Finally, nearly three years after the horrific 2000 elections, Democrats have unearthed the candidate they need to win. Franklin Delano Roosevelt, a famed former president, has been chosen in a draft movement to lead the party to victory.

FDR, as he is more commonly known, led America through some of its most difficult hours, creating work projects and helping the United States out of the Depression. Together with Winston Churchill, he built a worldwide alliance that was able to defeat fascism.

D. Reamer, head of the Draft FDR movement said that the party would just have to get past a few issues. "Sure, OK, he's dead, but we won't let that stop us. And we're pretty sure we can get past that constitutional question about another term. Since he already served more than two terms, he'd be grandfathered in."

When asked if he had any contact with the former president, Mr. Reamer said, "I have it on good third-hand information from a medium in Queens that he might consider coming back. That's enough for me."

5. Would be interesting
We might have to take it to the Supreme Court, but FDR has handled them before. We'd be set.

6. Bush/Cheney vs. Roosevelt/Truman
Faux reports B/C leads by 15% in early polling.

8. This is Good!
During FDR polls only the rich were polled. They were the only ones who could afford a telephone. But now, the majority of people have phones, that means that the majority are not voting for B/C or B/C's percentage would be higher.

9. Poll vaulting
In that case, we can count on the draft bringing us out of cold.
