to hell in the US.
1.Anyone checked out food prices lately...rising, even after the best watering season in decades. Produce is spoiling in the store bins because it is so plentiful...but too high for smart shoppers to buy.
2. I guess I don't have mention the gas gouging but i just did. Unbelievable!
3. Now for the worst. Any "renters" out there? Rents in MD, VA, DC and NJ are going through the ceilings...(don't even bother to mention NY..they have always been out of sight). Average low-middle income families who are too poor to buy a home are now being priced out of decent rental units. I received complaints from one friend and two family members that their rents were ny $72--$106 per month. This is for a 2 families and one single person earning between $18500-$34000 per year. They have been in the rental units for a long time. If they were applying for these units today, they would not be able to qualify for them. Causing lots of rental developments to lose value because of the need to double up or triple up on the number of families having to share units because of high rents...especiall for immigrants and US minorities. This is a lose-lose situation if i ever saw one.
4. School tuitions of all types being increased from 22%-37% in these areas. School vouchers? What the hell is that all about? Who can afford to pay all the other expenses after supplementing the vouchers?
Any other economic horror stories out there?
Oh, yeah, the rich don't give a damn because they don't feel any of this, especially after those hughe tax cuts. I ask you, what is saving $50,000 in taxes to someone who has so much money they can't even count it?
