18. No matter what someone is ACCUSED of...were their civil rights being

exploited or violated? That's the question and why the American Civil Liberties Union will represent anyone who's rights are being exploited and/or violated.

You are (suppose to be) innocent until proven guilt. And if your civil rights are being violated (no matter who you are) that’s the proper time for someone to come in and make it public and help you out.

It’s not the crime they necessarily agree or disagree with...it's about if your getting a fair trial and your civil rights are being protected…You can’t pre judge people through the media and say oh the ACLU is protecting child molesters. they simply want a FAIR trial for all.

How can one say who is guilty until there's been a FAIR trial...because one reads about it, or hears about it through the media? Get real!
