BOY, what a clumsy subject line! :)

I posted this link over in LBN, a news story where the Iraqi "terrorists" are being called "guerillas".

Is this the first major news piece where that's been done? Does it signal some kind of change in reporting? Or is it merely a sign that this particular reporter is gonna get fired soon? ;)

1. It seems to me that the term has just recently been used
in the major media. What does it all mean? What's the spin?

2. I've heard 'guerillas'
and 'paramilitary', and 'fedayeen', and 'loyalist', and 'death squad'.

Now 'freedom fighter', that would be a new one.
