Dean doesn't give a damn about Clark!
Dean is in this to become President of the US, he doesn't give a rats ass if Clark gets in or not. That doesn't mean that Clark wouldn't be a good candidate, or that Dean wouldn't consider Clark for VP. It just means that Dean is running his own campaign to become Prez.

1. ...
Well, if he's in it to become president, and sees someone else as being able to take his place, that would qualify as "giving a damn."

2. please
let these threads and their related spawns just fade away. They do nothing but get two camps all smarmy and riled up at one another.

5. yup - to keep Clark in 2nd place.
Which is not nefarious. It is smart. It is a winning ticket.

But Clark - why would he take 2nd place, when he can run his own campaign and be the pres? (I don't see Dean as being willing to be VP).

I don't want to vote for Clark - but I know he would be a slam dunk for the nom and the general.
