nation with an admired and respected leader? It wasn't too long ago (four years) that our President could travel most places in the world and be cheered and welcomed by people of all stripes in almost any country. Remember when America was viewed as 'peacemakers' What a difference an election makes....

And Bill Clinton could go into the masses and shake hands with the people unafraid. And they loved him.

8. And California also had the finest education system in the nation. |
|
Free college at great schools, terrific community college system long before any other state, great K-12. Just the kind of thing the pukes love to "fix."
I'm not a Californian but I have a ton of family throughout the state and I remember it well.

the ignorance/delusion about current policies being a standout to the past or "new" is strange to me.. modus operandi for decades, but suddenly "BFEE" is behind every ugly imperial aspect of American policy.

and yes, America's history is shakey on a lot of counts...I was recalling only the Clinton years...not perfect by any means....but a hell of a lot better than what we are living now.
