This is the best crop of candidates since 1972

I've been following politics since 1968, and I think this is the best crop of candidates we've had running since 1972, when McGovern, Muskie, Humphrey and Scoop Jackson ran. 1976? Carter, Udall, Bayh and Scoop Jackson don't measure up. 1980 I don't count because there was an incumbent. 1984? Mondale, Hart, Glenn, Jackson? No. 1988? Dukakis, Jackson, Gephardt, Babbitt. Don't think so. 1992? Clinton, Tsongas, Kerrey, Harkin. Not bad. But I think overall Dean, Kerry, Gephardt, Edwards, Graham and Kucinich are better in terms of experience, depth and persuasiveness.

You know that Kucinich has more government experience than Shrub and more foreign policy experience. :) Its the truth. Wasnt Brown in 1992 as well.

I was told yesterday that I would had liked Brown, I think Harkin would be on my list as well that is for 92. I like him and I still havent heard back from the DUer I offered my senator Allen for. lol thats like trading Patrick Ramsey(deadskins QB) for Michael Vick lol.

Alas, there's a good chance they will also meet the same fate the 1972 field did versus Nixon. Clark *might* be able to save them, maybe not.
