He is a true patriot. When the pResident and Rove called on him to sacrifice his career, even if it meant giving up $25 million per film, he decided to serve his country and forego further accumulation of wealth.

He is disciplined. To become a world-class body-builder, he must have undergone a dedicated regimen.

He is the kind of a guy you would like to go out and gang-bang with.

He is a Kennedy by marriage. He must therefore have their liberal philosophy.

He knows how to stick to a budget, since his income was limited to $50 million a year. Like the Kennedy's, his wealth enables him to focus on the needs of the people. Especially the needs of Bush, who wants to steal California in 2004.

He knows about the fragility of democracy and freedom; after all, his father was a Nazi, like Bush.

He is familiar with the California energy crisis. In early 2001, Cheney and Lay invited him to the WH to explain Enron's role in deregulation.

He is a moderate Republican who remains committed to the compassionate conservatism Bush is famous for.

By posing nude, it proved that he is not afraid to reveal his shortcomings.

and I want progessives to understand that there isn't much to spoil with Davis. He isn't more liberal than Arnold is, despite the D next to his name. There is no progessive reason to vote for Davis or against Arnold. Davis is from the Lieberman Zell Miller wing, and shouldn't expect loyalty since he isn't loyal. Arnold isn't going to institute a radical fundy agenda and make abortions illegal. Davis isn't going to do good things for workers, the poor or any other cause progessives care about if he wins. The ONLY difference between Davis and Arnold is the D next to Davis's name. That is pretty pathetic actually.

16. Democratic Underground is the name...

Largely because we are generally against Republican philosiphies and Republican politicians, as are most Democrats. The rules don't prohibit defending a Republican in some instances this just isn't the place for people who almost always support Republicans and agree with Bush on almost every issue.
