Doesn't seem like the French have gotten the message. A Loop Fan just back from Paris reports finding a place where President Bush most likely won't raise too many donations for help in the war against terrorism. It's the Comedie Italienne theater, which has been performing a satire since May titled "George W. Bush ou le Triste Cowboy de Dieu (George W. Bush or God's Sad Cowboy)." Promotional materials for the play call Bush a "philistine, spineless bigot and a former alcoholic" and express astonishment that he could "run the most powerful nation in the world and determine a new world order."

This attitude certainly won't help the French get good seats in that new world order.
