Anyone else notice 'Iraq:Things are Looking Up' stories lately?

I noticed a little flurry of Things-are-Looking-Up stories in the past two days, probably to coincide with Colin Powell's visit.

There's the 'Powell praises progress' story:

Of course, these are sandwiched between the Another-US-soldier-killed stories, the anti-American-sentiment-boiling stories, and the International-community-won't-touch-Iraq-with-a-bargepole stories.
