The nationalization of the CA Postponement.
Seems to me this recall election does not play out until March. That being the case It will be on the Ballot with he Dem Primary.

That means Dems will be out in droves which means Gray will likey win in a walk but here is the flip side issue.

The GOP will be out in droves understanding that not only do they want to recall Gray but they could actually vot in the Dem Primary and cause all sort of mischief.

This may well have just become the nationalization of this campaign with even * coming out to get out the vote.

But here is the the tricky part. Say MCClintock bows to pressure and drops out... Doesn't * risk alientating his conservative nase in the south by supporting Arnold? A pot smoking womanizer?

1. Either that, or they need to get more Diebold machines pulgged it.
Furthermore, it looked like things were going the Dem's way, with Arnold getting hit hard. Will this help them get their ducks in a row, or not? It's hard to tell.

2. I may be wrong, I should know, but
didn't the parties put an end to California's "open primary" initiative?

16. The US Supreme Court overturned Proposition 198
On June 26, 2000, the United States Supreme Court issued a decision in California Democratic Party, et. al. v. Jones, stating that California's "open" primary system, established by Proposition 198, was unconstitutional because it violated a political party's First Amendment right of association. Therefore, the Supreme Court overturned Proposition 198.

15. I hope they don't
it leaves it open to people on either side screwing around in the other ones party. Politics are a committment and you should be able to commit to one of the parties enough to find a candidate to your likeing.

13. Yes, it's now a 'modified primary'
Modified Closed Primary System
California currently has a "modified" closed primary system. SB 28
(Ch. 898, Stats. 2000), relating to primary elections, was chaptered
on September 29, 2000 and took effect on January 1, 2001. SB 28
implemented a "modified" closed primary system that permits
unaffiliated ("decline to state") voters to participate in a primary
election if authorized by an individual party's rules and duly noticed
by the Secretary of State.

7. So what, Chimpy is a coke-snorting Thief
The Busheviks didn't program millions of people with Goebbels v2.0 so they have to worry about them forming their own thoughts or opinions.

8. No in the primary you can only vote your party.
So the rep ballots are different than the dem ones.

12. If it goes till march
people will tire of Arnut real fast. He dosen't have anything substancial to say, just his one liners. I hope by that time Cal financial economy is doing better. I think time is on Dais side.
