Edited on Mon Sep-15-03 03:46 PM by LEW
McGauliffe is saying if this goes to to Supreme Court, that O'Connor is out of country and Scalia will be presiding, so we know how this ruling will go...still planning on October election.

Said Bush didn't say this during the campaign ..

for proof bush said this during the campaign..

He then asked "you know who did say it?"

Al Gore ....

5. Ya lost me
Your post seems to imply that James Carville, speaking on Crossfire, claims that the trifecta comment was not said by Bush but in fact was spoken by Gore.

Am I reading that right?

7. Yes, you are. W "borrowed" a Gore line and used it as his own
what's so surprising about this? It was debunked in Wash Post back in 2001.

4. Since the recall is inevitable that would be the best outcome.
It would remind the Democrats of 2000.
