much as I hate to say it. It sounds as if they need to get staffers to research all prior statements/positions taken, then remind them of prior positions taken. They then need to be clear in their own mind whether events that have occurred since the first position was articulated have changed their minds, and if so, say that! Nothing wrong with changing your views in response to important and relevant new information.

I'm glad Conason's on the show, but wouldn't it be more relevant to discuss his book? It's ridiculous that Clinton should still be such a big "problem" after all this time. Two books blaming 9/11 on Clinton have recently been published, and on one of the cable news channels last night, someone asked if Clinton was hurting the Dems by "overshadowing" Dean, Kerry, and Davis. People are getting turned off by the Iraqi invasion, so the strategy seems to be that those who are not accusing Dems of being unpatriotic by criticizing the Pretzel-Dunce are regenerating anti-Clinton nostalgia! Hopefully, Conason will ask "If lying about a sexual indiscretion is impeachable, why not lying to start a war?"
