1. normally I have a huge problem with your polls
Because I always want to have a "All of the Above", but you never have one.

However, I think you nailed it with perfect phrasing and humor with the last option.

The media must be foaming at the mouth for the chance to prolong coverage of this. After all, it beats the hell out of real journalism and real news, right?

6. Hey, you Sexybomber...did you hear the news today?
Edited on Mon Sep-15-03 09:41 PM by TruthIsAll
There was a judicial ruling that the recall be postponed because several counties still have those old punch-card voting machines. The voters there would not have "equal protection". Its Deja vu: the same Scotus Coup argument.

They gave one week for an appeal - so it may go to Scotus.

10. oh good God.
Serves me right for not obsessively checking the NY Times website for once...

Ten bucks says SCOTUS says they're fine and to go ahead with the punch cards. I mean, massive election fraud hasn't been a problem since November 2000...

4. None of the above
It gives everybody time to get burnt out by it and just vote no.

5. You missed the option
of the GOP turning the thumbscrews on McClintock forcing him out of the race. That is the one that would get my vote. Well, and the Faux one is a good one also.

9. McClintock is pulling votes from Arnold
We need him like the Repubs needed Nader...a necessary hole in the head.

13. McClintock may drop out to try to punish Democrats
He seems driven by emotion as much as anything.

14. Even a blind pig can find an acorn.
Rush lintball is right about this helping Gray Davis but I can't figure how this can help Bush*, especially if it goes to the SCOTUS.

15. It can help Bush because
the GOP will have Davis to pound on for at least six more months before the election, and it may well piss some Californians to have Davis in there longer

18. Like they haven't been pounding on him....
since he got in office? Since the fake power shortage? Since the bust of the economy and ensuing budget crisis? Heck, the shopping list the GOP has been using is getting tired and the polls show that Gray Davis is closing the gap. March will be a lovely time for the recall election because the Democrats will be turning out in droves for the Democratic primary and will vote NO on recall. No, this doesn't help Bush* and just shows how ridiculous Rush's reasoning is.

16. six more months of the media focusing on that instead of the Dems
This is the time that the candidates were supposed to be getting all the attention. Not anymore. All Arnold all the time, with a little Davis and Bustamante to fill up the rest.
