How can the Pubs stand there backing up the First Fraud without blinking??
From Hannity to Newt, from OReally to Rash, etc How can they continue this farce??? They got brains, they got degrees from college, they got where they at, they gotta know this Bush guy is a fake and front for the boys upstairs.

Is it the money and power??

Is it they also are brainwashed with the Pysops?

Or is it they are compulsive Pubs, unable to control the urge to dominate the Dems/agenda??

9. I agree
Their honor is tied into the notion that any Republican would be able to restore the honor and dignity that Clinton tarnished. (I don't get it either.) So with the cognitive dissonance so strong, they're compelled to continue with the current plan, even though the wagon's wheels are coming off and the horses are dropping dead of exhaustion.

2. I know Hannity...
Edited on Mon Sep-15-03 10:28 PM by Hippo_Tron
May be intelligent but he doesn't have the common sense to see how wrong he is. Newt Gingrich on the other hand is just a dumbass. There's also the fear of the label RINO. This is one of the reasons I think we shouldn't label our politicians DINO if we expect Republicans to speak out against Bush.

20. Aloha to an old Friend, Crew
Hope all your pain is gone from your wrists, etc.

Yup, the Pubs stick together and they come here to disrupt us, hoping to close this place like they did the DNC's Board. But for all their efforts, this DU is still growing.

The numbers do not tell the tale. We have 35,000 registered. Oh my, the Pubs are squirming. soon we will have 250,000.

And yes, we must tell it as it is as do many other DUers. We are helping America stay strong by staying Sane.

Aloha,

the Opi

18. The whole party is a fraud
First, they don't care a whit about spending taxpayers' money. They whine about a few million for kids, but tell Halliburton to pull their truck up to the back door and load it up with billions.

Second, they are not the party that knows how to run an economy. From Hoover to Reagan to the Bushes, we've had disastrous economies with every one of them. They balk at public expenditures, but every period of growth has come from public expenditures. From the Old National Road in 1806 to the railroads to telephone to highways to the internet. Every one of them started with public funding.

Third, they aren't the party of defense. Unless you talk about throwing around money to make military toys. Madison, the War of 1812, Wilson, Roosevelt, Truman. Lincoln was no Republican, you can tell by who his supporters were. Vietnam? Well if we want to go straight to war alone, he had 5 years to 'win' Vietnam. He didn't. The best thing Reagan actually did with the Soviet Union is TALK to them. The money he threw around fighting proxy wars is what we're cleaning up now. They DO NOT keep us safe.

So the real right wing conspiracy must be the secret they're keeping as to what they're really up to. Because it sure isn't anything they SAY they're up to.
