Touch screen voting on Jim Leher PBS -tune in! |

News hour with Jim Leher just did a piece on the concerns about Diebold touchscreen voting machines and the CA recall elections. Pacific, mountain, and central time DUers tune in to PBS! (Check local listings).

where programmers basically said it would be 'trivial' to reprogram the new computerized machines for fraudulant purposes.
The optical scanning machines might be better - at least vote is backed up by a paper ballot.
On another note.. wading through the California Recall Court Decision piece with Gwen Ifill was typically painful. My favorite question to her two experts was 'Isn't that court known to be 'liberal'?' Neither one of her guests would back that assessment up.. Haha!
She is horrible. Jim Lerher is little better. IMO.
