I just got called for an Opinion Poll..........

The very foreign accented Bush said he needed to select a person at random in my home. I told him I was the only one available, so he decided to ask me:

"Do you approve or disapprove of the way President Bush is handling his job?"

"I decidedly disapprove," was my very firm answer.

The was a pause, then the man said, "Oh. Okay. I get back to you then."

And I replied, "I get it! If I don't approve of Bush, you don't want to talk to me!"

"Jes," was the come back and he hung up......

Talk about selective polling!!!!

5. He could still be an American. Those tough telemarketing jobs go

to the needy. They are not pleasant. What interests me more is not the accent (he could be 40 years an American Citizen and have payed more taxes than you have in his life). An accent tells you nothing. What is more interesting and telling is that he was only interested in Kool-Aid drinkers.

6. Well, that was my point. But it was a very bad connection on top of the

thick accent AND the fact that he didn't want to survey me once he discovered that I don't support Bush.

7. And I don't regret missing all of these polls

and solicitations when I let the machine pick up the call, and the callers hang up
