Now that the (liberal) Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals in San Francisco has upheld that decision the republicans are going nuts.

The decision would simple DELAY the recall until the March elections in California and would, without a doubt bring out many more Democrats to the polls (and help Gov. Gray Davis) voters at that time will be voting for the democratic candidate for president and the republicans are going mad.

But it was that federal decision (when the repukes ran from the Florida "State" Supreme Court) and to the Federal Government...(the US Supreme Court) and begged the high court to stop the Florida recount as unfair...and the reason the high court gave the ruling...and now the ninth circuit court is simply just following that ruling...

I love it!!!!

NOW, the republicans all of a sudden don't believe in that ruling, but that exact decision, put Bush in the White House and now the republicans all of a sudden can’t live with that decision?

Fucking Republican hypocrites…but we already knew that.

It’s fun to watch the repugs squirm and lie and try and rationalize that the US Supreme Court decision as a one time decision. Which is complete bullshit…all decisions create precedence.

Waiting until March will give the state of California plenty of time to make the necessary changes in the voting process, the SAME in ALL counties as The US Sureme Court ruled in favor of Bush and the ninth circuit court is just honoring (by law) that decision...

Thank the ACLU for their time and petioning the court. (This why republicans hate and despise the ACLU...they are the last defense to our freedoms and civil rights (in this case fair voting rights.) but the repukes always try and slime them with their lies and distortions of the truth.

Now let's watch the "high court" do another turn around in the repukes favor. Our eyes will be upon them!!!

8. No, the truth is now in the open...

for month's the republicans tried to put a rush job on this recall, to stream roll it though with their usual lies and distortions...but as each day unfolds more and more people were beginning to see the republican deception (Enrons role, Rove and the WH, republican money, etc...)

This is why the republicans are going crazy right now, because they hoped to just blow this (as they usualy do) right by the voters...

Throw in a big name like Arnold, spend lots of always ready republican money, paint Arnold as almost a "liberal" for the predominantly democratic California voters, etc.

Then just like in the 2000 election (when the republicans kept pushing and convining voters there was no difference between Bush or Gore)

Until it's too late and then Arnold falls line behind the rest of the Bush fascist and Rove has his foot in the door, for Bush in 2004.

It's their usual republican rush job at work here...with Rove's figer prints all over it!

9. Well it DOES give Repubs more time to work on the racist

element of their party with Prop 54 and the license issue but it ALSO gives Dems a chance to do some clean-up legislation on other matters as well and gives a longer spotlight to energy issues.

Sandra Day O'Connor is in charge of the 9th circuit and I am uncertain as to whether she would want to visit this issue again. According to Toobin's book it is unlikely fat Tony would have Kennedy on board again...so I'll bet they simply punt....but who knows.

Frankly as time goes on, I think Arnold will be the one that needs to drop NOT Mc Clintock.
