Time to face the fact that Elvis will be the next President
If you look at thebig picture, it is obvious that Elvis will be the next President.

1) There has been an increase in Elvis sightings
2) Everybody loves Elvis - from the Red states to the Blue
3) The "Wow" factor of someone returning from the dead
4) Elvis has great stage presense

Obviously, no other candidate could beat Elvis, who will announce sometime later this week.

Say Goodbye Bush and Hello Presley in 2004

2. Can we run Elvis Costello instead?
I know we'll have to get around the whole not-a-native thing, but the inaugural ball/concert would be pretty kickass...

4. He's the "military man" with the best chance of defeating Bush in '04

Who could be better than a handsome pop star who would be a lock with the post-50 female electorate?

6. how long will America stay in denial about this ?
the Return of the King happens in September, not December (finale of Lord of the Ring series for the cinematically impaired).
