There's Iowa; There's New Hampshire and There's ....What??

Everybody's going wild and nutso over the polls and speeches and all that jazz regarding Iowa and NH. But, exactly, where the hell is the rest of the country on all this?? Obviously, they haven't had the attention of the candidates bestowed on them yet so that they begin to rally to one candidate or the other. I assume the Fleet Center will seat more than the Iowa and NH delegates.......hell, if that's all that's going to be there they might as well get on the pike and drive an hour and a half to my place and I'll give them Maine "lobstah" for lunch. In a word, aren't we all, including the media, putting the cart, the kitchen sink and the kitten's kaboodle way before the horse??? I think there are things "up sleeves" that are yet to be produced. Dirty tricks are yet to be thrown on the table to trump other cards. Money has to exchange hands, deals to be made, and promises have to be kept to the Devil----and, pleeeease, don't be stupid and niave enough to believe that 'your pet' candidate is so far above those things. If he is, he will lose. This isn't junior high president of the student council we are talking about----this is raw power grabbing at work for the highest office on planet Earth.....and money and power are all bellying up to the bar as we speak.

1. Yes, and there are more states than those two

I was thinking about this today, all this talk about NH and Iowa, but aren't there other state primaries? You betcha, and I think there will be quite a few surprises in some of those other states. Anything can happen, beyond the first two primaries.

So far in the 2004 presidential cycle, Arizona, Delaware, South Carolina and Missouri have scheduled their primaries for Feb. 3 — the closest date they can come to the New Hampshire primary, which according to state law must be held seven days before every other state's primary.

This year, Democratic Party officials have also driven forward caucuses in New Mexico and Michigan, now scheduled for Feb. 3. By law, Iowa must hold its caucus at least eight days before other states.
