Looking at Crossfire... Does anyone know what Clark stands for?
I'm pretty unfamiliar with Clark but I've noticed all the attention he is getting on these boards. Where does he stand on the important issues? Most people didn't even know he was a Democrat until last week or so... Why don't we find out where he stands on the issues before jumping on board JUST BECAUSE he's a General in the military. And I do think that Dean still has a better chance because, at least for right now, his intentions are very straightforward--there is no mystery regarding his stance on the issues.

1. He's supported by the DLC
and he's a general.

For many that's enough. Not me.

4. sems to me that ...
perhaps it is what you don't know rather than what Clrk supporters know. Also, it seems as though "we" can support who we want. Did I miss the memo tht said I had to support Dean or something?

9. bitterness is not necessary...
I've pretty much made up my mind about who I'm voting for already. The only thing that will change that is if Hilary decides to run.

10. Novacula says the military brass were going to dump Clark, until BC
intervened in his behalf. Sounds like some ready-made-for Clark-candidacy right wing B.S..

12. The DLC Backs Clark?
Tell me more. Nothing against Clark, but if the Corp. big money boys are backing him, I have heard enough. If true, he will have to win the nomination to get my vote. If we are going to take our country back it will not be under the wing of the DLC republic lite.

13. The DLC Has Not Taken a Position on Clark
Michael Moore, however, has spoken VERY favorably of Clark.

15. DLC, NRA, DAR, VFW or PTA can back him for all I care. He's a winner.
And the Democrats must field a winner if the America and the world is to avoid four more years of Bush.

17. Wrong: If we are going to take our country back it will *only* be...
...via the center.

Call it Repub lite if you must (I disagree), or whatever you will, but that's where the VOTERS are. You will need them.
