1. Well that remark cost Eves

about 14 points in the polls...and their negative ads...culminating in this one may have cost him the election.

3. I think Eves' drop in the polls has more to do with the people being fed

up with how he has cut back in essential services (such as meat inspectors)re the Aylmer meat packing co....et al.....Old oily Ernie is on his way out....Thank God!!!!

5. Well when the election was called

the Liberals and Tories were even in the polls....they think the blackout with Eve's frequent appearances did that, because he was trailing before...but then Eves started with the attack ads, and began calling McGinty everything in the book....and that stupid kitten-eater remark just brought that into focus I think.

Then all the built-up dislike of the last few years started coming out....and now Eves is trailing by 14 points.

Anyway...let's hope it continues and Eves becomes history.

car insurance, cutbacks, mortgage kickbacks, arrogance, announcing the Budget from Outside of the Legislature, negative ads, undenying faith in private energy even when the Annointed Ones from the Calgary tribe has shelved it, etc etc...

... but I loved the liberals zing on having the kitten meat inspected
(The Eves-Harris conservative government is being blasted for allowing meat inspection standards to fall so far that it put lives at risk. And then there's the agriculture minister who basically said she didn't have enough time to address the situation because she was campaigning for the election. May their defeat be overwhelming and embarassing)
