Last night this guy called in to Bernie Ward's show on KGO 810 (SF) and chastised Bernie for daring to criticize the "president" in wartime. In his diatribe he made the usual chest thumping speech about how "we are at war", and that Iraq was behind 9/11, Iraq was harboring Al Qaeda, Iraq had weapons of mass destruction and Saddam Hussein was a dictator. When Bernie asked him where the weapons were, this guy babbled and then said that Iraq either dumped the weapons in the river or shipped them off to Syria. Oh, but we would find them! When Bernie noted that it should have been easy to locate the weapons if 50,000 ibs. of sarin were supposedly dumped in the Tigris River, the caller just yelled some jibberish and hung up.
This guy goes by the name "Don", I think from Los Gatos. He calls in frequently to Ray Taliaferro and Bernie Ward, usually to blame the latest Bush screwup on the Great Satan, Bill Clinton. He has a raspy, but kind of squeaky voice, and sometimes slurrs his speech, like he may be a drunk. If I supported this Administration I'd probably stay up late nights drinking too.
