Now i will say that I am just starting to get aquainted with clark. But seeing this interview did not make a decent start for him for me.

Was in response to a question of whether or not it was true that he didnt remember who he voted for in the past.

This i thought was a pretty weak excuse. I dont care if satan himself held my vote from actually being counted after i attempted to cast it I still know who I voted for.


I had liked most of what I had seen of him up to now wich admitedly wasnt much. But ducking that question like that certainly didnt gain points with me.

I hope he does better in the future because up until now he has seemed like a candidate I could be enthusiastic about. Knowing little about him as I do this was not a great start.

Ahhh well I am sure we will be seing a lot more of him in the months ahead he has lots of time to change my mind.

The gloves are definately off though now in the media. Showtime!

And the question WAS whether he remembers who he has voted for in the past. I didn't believe his answer for a second. He can't remember if he voted for Chimp or Gore? C'mon, man!

Ugh, I don't believe for a second that a man as intelligent as Clark can't remember who he voted for.

That answer makes him seem like a politician, which cheapens him and IMO takes away one of his greatest strengths.

I have faith that he'll do better, though.

giving an analysis of strategy and what his own opinions are/were.

and a REAL coalition. And then power would have been shared after the invasion and the BFEE wouldn't be having their huge secret profiteering party.

Actually, I don't see how enough troops could ever have been gathered so perhaps the point is it wouldn't have been possible since a large enough force could not have been mounted.

12. he was pretty good on MSNBC

At least he's gotten past the first hurdle. He's articulate (unlike the sock puppet) and he seemed relaxed during the MSNBC interview.

Small issue, but he has a great smile. One of the things I always liked about Clinton was how incredibly optimistic he always was - you can see that influence on Clark. Instead of the "Angry Young Democrat" role (and yes, I know we're all angry, and have many many reasons to be) it might be nice to see a positive, optimistic agenda.

Of course, MSNBC just *had* to interject Hillary into segment - their question to viewers was, "Clark has declared. Will Hillary declare next?". The obsession with Hillary is almost pathological, I swear the wingnuts need professional help on this issue.
