Bush's approval rating is 12% below his dad's at the same time in 1991!
Bush's job approval ratings have sunk to pre-9/11 levels around 52 percent, according to a USA Today poll. Bush's grades for handling the economy continue to sink even further.

By comparison, at this point in 1991, Bush's father enjoyed approval rating of 64 percent, according to a Wall Street Journal poll published in September of that year.

The article just mentions this fact in passing, but I thought it was good enough news to merit its own post. :)

1. Yeah, the killing in Iraq is getting old.
People are usually all for a nice little war, but not when Americans keep dying.

Bush can't even wag the dog properly.

4. The worse his poll numbers get...
the more reason there is to not spend any more time than is necessary in tall buildings.

5. Kick for May His Votes Be 12% Less, Too
Actually, over the months there have been posts here speculating about whether Shrub might NOT RUN. If he looks to lose, he is just the type to stagger away, with the faux bravado of "not needing this". That would be after spending the $200 mil first.
