was surfing by looking for Hurricane info. I stopped because I thought the photo looked like Clark had chosen Hillary as his VP or something and I almost spilled my coffee.
The red haired guy had Joe Conason and Tom Squiglieri (used to hang out with Geraldo) on as commentators on "Is Clark running so he can lose and Hillary can get in the race?" The logic of that seemed to surprise both of the commentators, so then it became that Clark would hurt Kerry, and that if no Dem is able to pull ahead of the pack then Hillary will be brought in because she has tremendous name recognition. Conason pretty much said "No" to that scenario.....but agreed that Clark would hurt Kerry because of the Military thing.
The discussion was really silly, but here's what bothered me: There's this picture looking like campaign photo which made me stop and tune in because it looked like Clark/Hillary campaing shot. So, MSNBC is trying to put a subliminal message in my mind by connecting the two......when the discussion wasn't about that at all. So, what about this? A media Psy-Ops plan to push a Clark/Hillary ticket? Oh, they would love that.........or was it a way of trashing Clark by putting him with Hillary as if he was the Clinton's choice.
Something was afoot on MSNBC this morning with that photo and bogus discussion. Conasan said Hillary isn't running, but Squigiliari said the Clintons were behind Clark. Conason said that some of Clinton's people are working for Clark but that didn't mean they had put Clark up to running.
Still, that photo of Clark/Hillary is sticking in my mind. What do you think? Psy-Ops? Subliminal Message?
MSNBC up to more no good dirty tricks?
