1. interesting
A Dean/Clark ticket is nice, but look at how many senate seats are now in limbo in that cabinet!

Yet since we're dreaming, how about if we add...

Kucinich for OH Senator
Snowe for Democratic senator from Maine
Nadler for NY Governor.

You may say I'm a dreamer...but I'm not the only one. :)

3. Dennis should have a joint appointment
EPA and FTC (trade commission) - if we could clone him we could put him charge of several regulatory bodies.

Sharpton - head of the Civil Rights Commission (wasn't that Thomas's stepping stone?)

Graham - head of the CIA

5. Very extensive
Some good choices there, indeed.

But, um....

Interior - Ben "Nighthorse" Campbell

...you must not live in Colorado. He'd turn over the BLM to ranchers. I'd fight like hell over that one, sorry.

Bill Richardson, David Skaggs, Dick Lamm....anybody but Campbell.

14. Wanted Him Out of the Senate
That one slipped past my thorough analysis, though. You're quite right he's not a good policy fit for Interior. The politics overwhelmed me. :-)

13. Allow Me to Explain That One
Christie Todd Whitman is one of the few GOPers to resign from the Bush Administration. To confirm it was a resignation in disgust, and to have a cabinet that "looks like America" (i.e. some Republicans), Whitman should come back to EPA and undo the damage.

It'd be good politics and policy.

16. Rosalyn Carter for HUD?
I'm sure she's a nice lady, but does she have any experience that would enable her to run that enormous agency?

And Christie Todd Whitman for EPA?? Uh, surely we could do better than anyone Bush himself chose.

9. Actually
Secretary of State - Gary Hart

Gore'd never take it. If Dean wins, smart says he runs for TN Governor. If the Dems lose, he's back in '08.
