He hasn't won a presidential campaign yet, so why are people buying into the argument of so-and-so not being electable, or so-and-so is our only hope???

The election is the Dems to lose, and believing that Repuke propganda, we will surely lose!

1. I agree we shouldn't believe repuke propaganda
But I think we should be careful about over-confidence.

3. This is a fair point
I mean of coures the Republican plan is to portray President Bush as unbeatable, and any democrat candidate as a loser and we need to avoid buying into that. But this will be a tough campaign no matter how you look at it. A winnable campaign, but a tough one.

Unless, of course, I'm mistaken.

4. Over-confident?
No, I think a Dem victory is very realistic! The problem in the past is that the dem leadership haas been waiting to be given an opportunity, and don't see one when it's under their noses!

8. It's not a question of US believing it.
The media is doing their best to sell it for the BFEE. We have to counter it.

5. Well
Before 9-11 I used to like looking at those books that showed all the dumb things he said. Funny how those dissappeared after 9-11.

7. by November, 2004, the American people will be . . .
so fed up with Bush and company that just about anyone running as a Democrat will be able to beat him . . . and we'll have a good shot at taking back Congress, too . . . because, despite claims of a growing economy, progress in Iraq, etc., things are going to get a whole lot worse before they get better . . . the level of shit that this administration has gotten us into is of the "roll up the pant legs, it's too late to save the shoes" variety . . .
