MAYBE THEY FAKED CHENEY OUT! (Sorry to shout, but...)

It just hit me, while reading Josh Marshall's newest post.

What if they're ambushing Cheney? "Dick, go out there and defend the Iraq/9-11 connection." Then everyone else reverses and points fingers at him.

Would that work? Cheney of course would NEVER willingly give up any power. He is insulated against all failure.

So maybe they faked him out.

5. You Can't Cheat An Honest Man

There's enough on "Unca" Dick to force him out and hopefully convict him later. Besides, with all his millions and a free SS bodyguard, I don't think he will be hurting.

ShrubCo is just doing this to improve his public image for 2004.

8. Something's up.

They're up to something. Bush, Condoliar, Cheatin Cheney, Dumsfeld, they are all appearing at the same time, making the same statement. Everybody here at DU is picking up on it (see the 3 articles above this one). The question is, what are they up to?

We can all sense a shake-up. The question is, whose head is about to go under the guillotine? It definitely seems like someone's about to be ousted, from the way they're acting. Lots of people are guessing it's Big Bucks Cheney.

I'm betting it's Condoliar. Out of the thug lineup, she's the one who's folding right now. She's appearing on TV shows practically in tears, trying to cover her ass and failing miserably. She's the weakest link in the chain, and the know it.
