Attention All Nurses!!!!
Lets all place Andy Stephenson on our patient assignment.

We nurses never have any problem working an extra shift. I would like to request that we all look at picking up at least one shift and sending that money to Andy. You can think about Andy's plite while you are attending to your patients as a motivator. Think of it as just an extra patient on your assignment that day. Or, just pick-up a few extra hours, a half-shift....with Andy as your vision.

2. What a wonderful idea!
I am no longer a nurse but if I was I would have done that in a second, what is an extra shift for a nurse but a normal work day?

I will have to think about a creative way to participate. Way to go liberalnurse, you are to best!

3. Thats the way I see it.
Many, many nurses are also signed up with nursing pools too. Just schedule an extra shift, somewhere and get an "instant pay" the next morning. We all have done it for other reasons! Thats why signing up for the pool along with our regular job is a plus!O8)

Lets try and keep this kicked to inform nurses who may be at work and have not gone online yet.

6. I'm a nurse and I think an extra shift is a big deal
I have a life and I don't do extra shifts lightly. That said, as soon as I get back from my vacation I will do exactly that. Wonderful idea!

11. My niece is a psych nurse....
Tomorrow she receives her MSN from the University of Illinois at Chicago and I will proudly attend her graduation. She also has passed the state nurse-practitioner exam and is now looking for an administrative job working with mentally ill adolescents.

A terrific young woman....

Thanks, nurses!
