Where is Clark on Labor issues?

I didn't see a damn thing about this on his site or the Illinois for Clark site. Are his people in Illinois so naive they think he's gonna get anywhere in Illinois without Labor support?

So anyway where does he stand? Does he support unions? Does he want to reform labor law so we can effectively organize? Would he reinstitute project labor agreements on Federal jobs? Where does he stand on Davis-Bacon?

I don't think his people in Illinois (or anywhere for that matter) will ignore the issues regarding labor. His site just came up today, and the Illinois for Clark site is run by his draft supporters, not his campaign.

There was a very informative interview with NPR that can be found at http://www.digitalclark.com where he is asked about labor, the state of the economy and jobs.

While this is by no means a complete or comprehensive answer to your question, I hope it gives you a sense of where he stands. As the campaign gets its first days under its belt, I am sure you'll hear more specific and targeted responses to questions on his stances in the coming days.

I see Clark addressing job creation in vauge terms but I'm talking Labor issues----Unions. As a Union man I want to know is he with me or against me? If elected will he back our agenda?

5. Clark Is Pro-Worker

Based on my understanding. I'm sure he'll come out with a position soon.

You have to admit, America having a "duty" to provide full employment is pretty revolutionary!

6. The illinois site

Like all the state sites is grassroots. Hopefully, he will stake out a strong pro-labor position in his policy address. That is a blank spot right now and he needs to recognize the interests of the base soon.

7. Unions are waiting

There are unions who have met with Clark...whatever they heard, they were holding up their endorsements until he entered the race. Being in favor of raising the minimum wage can't be all bad news.
