Apparently, that mindset is typical. Fuck them. They hated deficits, now deficits are "no problem because they are just a tiny percentage of the GDP."

They hated government intrusion--now they fucking love it. They wouldn't mind being anally probed by Tom Ridge and John Asscrapped.

All three of my messages were removed (earlier I had asked the people of FreeRepublic what they thought about Bush's, Condoleeza's and Rumsfeld's recent claims that there was no evidence that Saddam Hussein was behind 9/11 and asked them to reconcile that with the fact that 69% of Americans still believe Saddam was behind 9/11. Their heads exploded. Also, a long time freeper had taken exception to JD Hayworth's latest "cry me a river" article about the "Bush Bashers" in National Review and stated that Congress should have done their constitutional job re: Iraq and another freep asked him what wasn't in the House/Senate resolution to justify war. I then stated what wasn't in the resolution: a formal declaration of war with Iraq.

That's what the first freep was referring to.
