This is too much! The DNC's new weblog

Entitled "Kicking Ass". Yeesh, I think they should have gone with Sharpton's "Spank that Donkey!", and of course I got notification through e-mail. Lemme tell you it's mighty disconcerting to open an e-mail from a political party group and find a headline that reads "Introducing Kicking Ass..." in big red letters!

4. It's my understanding that an ass is a donkey and an arse is
a term for the posterior.

So, properly, we should be saying our Democratic Ass with be kicking Republican Arse in 2004.

5. Well, it's good to see them actually kicking.
I'd wondered whether Dem pols were alive and kicking at all.

It's time to kick some elephant ass.

6. Good concept but.....
........their choice of recommended reading is woefully limited since it contains two notable omissions, Buzzflash (as they have noted today) and Democratic Underground. If one wishes to direct readers to sites that really "kick ass" I can't think of two that administer a more bruising punishment to conservowackos than these two.

7. I kind of like it
Fast-loading, clean, decent content, and some links.

I agree the Sharpton quote would be better, but didn't he say "slap that donkey"? ("Spanking the donkey" suggests something more ononastic. Is that what he said?)

8. I like it.
I think it's hilarious- because we ARE going to kick some scrawny Shrub ass in '04. Kick his ass right back to Texas where he is free to read the Sports page, work 6 hour days, and take nice long afternoon naps. Oh wait...nevermind.
