Whoa! GREAT Lottery commercial for the Maryland Lottery! |

We were just watching Saturday Night Live. This commercial comes on. It has a techno music band of three androgynous men dressing in red hot pants playing some really horrible music (as this was on SNL, we at first thought it was part of the show!). Anyway, they finally cut to a young couple sitting on a couch watching this band on teevee. Some funny remark from the guy and then the cut to lottery tickets and the commercial's purpose becomes obvious .....
But here's the great part. The couple's interracial .... white man and black woman.
Tres interesting!
Tres hopeful!

I had a black girlfriend. I think the country's ready for it. Or maybe it's just Prince Georges county.

I don't give a crap if America is "ready", if it doesn't concern them, it's none of their business. :)
