I'm totally psyched about the possiblility that I'll get to interact with Dr Dean and Al Franken in the same night.

5. I really don't know much

I just got a call from the one of the organizers and was told that I need to show up at noon for volunteer orientation (which will last about an hour) and then come back at 5 (I think the event starts at 7). since I don't have any relevant volunteer experience, I wasn't assigned a job yet... I'll be given one on Saturday when they know what positions haven't been filled by people with experience in those areas. she also told me to wear comfortable shoes.
