i just read in some article that Clark voted democratic first when bill clinton who is also from arkansas ran for president in 1992. i think that's great. i LOVE bill clinton and to see clark say that is a huge compliment to bill clinton especially considering all the crap clinton got with the draft thing and clark having been in vietnam and a general. this makes me see clark in a better way since i love bill clinton so much.

ON EDIT: Just a little hyperbole- of course some troops were killed during the Clinton Admin- just not as many as during Raygun, Poppy, *'s, Nixon's, Carter's (IIRC), etc., etc.

During one of thier pre commercial blogs. I'm sure if you worded it correctly in a search engine you could find some source. I tried in my tired state, but could not.

edit: I searched literally, found Dole said that exact sentence in a source that didn't refute it. I'm sure a more interested party could find better. I know the History Channel is often propaganda, but I do not think they would source something that only came out of an opposing party members mouth.

i like how he kicks right wing ass. although he isn't very liberal (doesn't claim to be) he got to appoint some justices on the court. he knew how to win an election. i love hearing him speak. he understands he can't do it all, but tries to do as much good as he can.

11. Ok maybe many of you are not familiar wtih this

since the military is sort of kind off a closed community.

Here is a lessson that my brother in law (USN-RET) told me.
Back in 1984 or so reagan started asking for cuts in pay
for the military.

By 1986 he had done away with COLAs (remember at this time
Clark is a mid carrer mid level Officer). Now by 1992 the buzz
on many a military post was Clinton (yes I am making this story
short for a reason) as many of the troops and officers were
getting tired, as they were getting the toys, but not the
pay or better quality of life they were promised. This is also the time when, for the most part, the full transformation from a draftee army to a highly trained (and liked force this is after Desert Storm), had been accomplished. So the trend started under Reagan, but slowly many in the military went from Republican to Democratic leanings.

By the way, for those of you wondering something similar
is going on right now, as the military, from the higher ups, to
the fox 'ole diggers, are not too enthused with the current
civilian leadership, so yes Jr is stamping out many a life time
Democrat, in a factory kind of fashion.
