But it was on his radio show. I must admit I've turned it on a few times since Bush's $87 billion request, because the mental meltdown has become very comedic.
Anyway, he was doing one of those "man on the street" things, and this is roughly how it went:
Hannity: So how do feel about President Bush?
Man on the street: Eh... not so crazy about him.
Hannity (with obvious disdain): Why not?
Man on the street: Well, now he's coming out saying Saddaam isn't connected to 9-11... and that's how he got support for it.
Hannity: He never said Hussein was behind 9-11! Name one thing he's done wrong.
Man on the street: He just couldn't wait to get us into this war. He loves his wars.
Hannity: Well, what would you have him do after we were attacked on 9-11? Just sit there? We had to strike back!
He just flipped right back to suggesting that Iraq was responsible for 9-11, though he'd just been insisting that Bush never made that ridiculous claim. Meltdown.
