Update on liberal radio network

Al Franken was on Wisconsin Public Radio today and said that the liberal radio is scheduled to start in January and he will do a three-hour daily show. He refused to say who else will be on.

1. The key is to get a steady stream of quality guests.

If anyone can do that, Franken can. I also look forward to him bringing on some LWers and RWers on at the same time. He let's them duke it out all the while remaining an "impartial" referee. LOL! What fun!

9. Here's why Liberal talk radio won't make it.

With very few exceptions, liberals are just not entertaining enough. There's not enough ranting and raving and name caling to keep people entertained.

Probabaly the closest thing we have now to liberal talk radion is NPR. Just people calmly discussing the issues. The average listener would much rather hear foaming-at-the-mouth assholes like Limbag and Hannity.

Just my opinion.

2. Great Show

The last caller was a Rush Ditto-wanker. He asked Al what credentials he had compared to the Almighty Rot-butt. What a loon he thinks Rush is educated and deeply knowledgeable. Little does he care to know Rush is a cesspool of Right wing think tankology hot off the blast fax. His eloquence belies the shallow, canted and deceitful nature used to cover and propagandize his backers wishes. Al is a Harvard grad and what is Rot-crotch?

10. Rush Limbaugh comes from a family of judges and

lawyers. It was expected that since he was a Limbaugh he would be a lawyer. That was not to be due to his less than stellar performance in college. He was soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo stupid and such a bad student that he flunked out of SOUTHEAST MO UNIV. Now mind you this school is located in Cape Girardeau, MO which is approx. two hours south of St Louis. It is a very small town. Not exactly known as a hotbed of intellectual or left-wing activity. I think at the time Rush attended SEMO it had an open admissions policy, meaning whomever applied was accepted.

To flunk out of SEMO one must really, really work at it. Especially if you have a famous and/or well connected last name.

PLEASE Franken is a HARVARD grad. Limbaugh wouldn't stand a chance.

Surprise Limbaugh doesn't accuse Franken of being an east coast elitist.

11. WOW. That's fantastic news.

Franken's just great. I can't believe he'll be doing 3 hours every day- I've come to regard his occasional appearances as something akin to a bank holiday. Very pleasant, but far too rare.
