Dropping bombs in Pakistan. Consequences?

US dropped bombs across the border into Pakistan. What might be the consequences of this? Do you think they are sniffing out Osama in order to save the Chimp's butt?

i guess we should expect more cross border raids. that's where the BG's are. the mouth-breathing hawk in me says fine, how bout some tightly coordinated apache raids on taliban & al queda camps in pashtunistan?

2. they'd assume we were actually trying to kill Osama for the 1st time

withdraw the minimal support they currently give us (which means the Bush/PNAC cabal won't have a symbolic Tali or al Qaeda bust from time to time to suit their PR needs anymore)

The region would further destabilize and raids into Afghanistan would grow in strength and frequency. The conflict there woudl rapidly become round 2 of the Russian invasion.

we hit a large, barren field, no injuries, deaths or property damage to speak of. bush* will give 'em a billion out of the $87 for the inconvenience.
