You'd think Clark was Hitler from the threads here, and he ain't even close. The atmosphere is at an all-time low at DU. Did someone drug the water supply with meanness? I've seen people getting bashed just for making simple statements--nothing more. I've never EVER seen DU this bad, and I've been visiting since its inception. What's going on???

It's just so dissapointing to see all the bashing and rudeness. It's like gradeschoolers having a mean-spirited mudball fight. I think we have a lot of excellent candidates. It's one thing to see the derogatory articles--fine. But to see the Rove-like smears from other liberals is really disappointing. It's hateful.

I have a hard time supporting anyone who supported the war. It was illegal, immoral, unjust and fought under false pretenses. I'm very disappointed in Clark (as well as a few others) for the support they have indicated or given.

What's the use of an opposition party that's not opposed to anything?

Otherwise it can be a futile, frustrating and pointless experience.
