Are the Saudis the Conduit for Bush’s Using U.S. Tax Dollars to Bribe Foreign Leaders to Commit Troops to Iraq Without U.N. Resolution?
Two questions: How much money did Putin personally receive in exchange for agreeing to break with the Germans and French and allow young Russian soldiers to be shipped off to Iraq to help George Bush save face? How deeply are the Saudis involved in assisting the Bush Administration, as Senator Ted Kennedy says, to “bribe” foreign leaders to send troops to Iraq?
Let these news stories speak for themselves!

“Kennedy Believes Unaccounted-for-Money is Being Used to Bribe Foreign Leaders to Send Troops to Iraq”
BOSTON – “The case for going to war against Iraq was a fraud ‘made up in Texas’ to give Republicans a political boost, Sen. Edward Kennedy said Thursday. In an interview with The Associated Press, Kennedy also said the Bush administration has failed to account for nearly half of the $4 billion the war is costing each month. He said he believes much of the unaccounted-for money is being used to bribe foreign leaders to send in troops.”
“…Kennedy said a recent report by the Congressional Budget Office showed that only about $2.5 billion of the $4 billion being spent monthly on the war can be accounted for by the Bush administration.
"’My belief is this money is being shuffled all around to these political leaders in all parts of the world, bribing them to send in troops,’ he said. Of the $87 billion in new money requested by President Bush for the war, Kennedy said the administration should be required to report back to the Congress to account for the spending.”

“France, Germany Criticize US Plan, Russia Takes a “Softer Line”
MOSCOW – “The leaders of Germany and France yesterday slapped down a new US proposal for more international troops and aid to stabilize and rebuild Iraq, while French diplomats called for a return of UN weapons inspectors into the country… Russia took a softer line, with a senior official saying Moscow had not ruled out contributing to a peacekeeping force.”
“’Everyone knows the US made a mistake by going into Iraq and trying to occupy it alone,’ said Ivan Safranchuk, head of the Moscow office of the Washington-based Center for Defense Information. "But while Schroeder and Chirac want to make Bush admit it publicly, Putin is not interested in having the US lose face."

“Former President Bush Meets With Putin”
SOCHI, Russia – “Former President George H.W. Bush met Vladimir upon arriving Sunday in the Black Sea resort of Sochi, less than two weeks ahead of his son's talks with the Russian leader… Bush and his wife, Barbara, traveled to Sochi on a plane provided by the airline that serves Putin and other Russia government figures. Putin, his black Labrador retriever nearby, greeted them on the tarmac in English, shaking Bush's hand and giving Barbara a bouquet of roses. Putin rarely meets even high-level visitors at the airport, and Bush thanked him for his ‘extraordinary courtesy.’
"’I can tell you our president will be overcome with gratitude for the way you are treating Barbara and me,’ Bush said. Dressed casually, Bush and Putin held talks at a modest presidential mansion and strolled with their wives before dinner in the large, lush garden sloping down to the sea…The Kremlin said last week that Putin and the younger Bush will meet Sept. 26 at Camp David.”

MOSCOW – “Vladimir Putin, the Russian president, laid on an especially warm welcome at his favourite holiday spot of Sochi yesterday for a man many Russians think is really driving American policy - George Bush Sr.
The former US president and father of the incumbent, George Bush Jr, is on a private trip to Russia, meeting senior officials and businessmen.
Yet President Putin altered his agenda to fly the former president to Sochi and personally greet Mr. Bush and his wife, Barbara, on the airport asphalt. The three then left for the presidential residence of Bocharov Ruchei in a Kremlin limousine.”
