No mention of the Downing Street Minutes or Galloway on The Daily Show
It makes me sad.

I feel let down.

I know it isn't funny and all but I still wanted to see them cover it.

2. cut them some slack
It is only a half hour show. It was clear they had a theme and ran with it.

3. That true I hate having to depend on a comedy show for truth in journalism
there's nothing funny about Bush being a liar responsible for the death of over 100,000 people. I know I still want to see Jon talk abou it.

Oh well, lets keep pushing and maybe he'll mention it.

I'm writing a LTTE tonight for our College paper, hopefully they'll cover it.

4. I think their problem
is that the memo isn't fresh anymore as well as the humor angle. I can think of some humorous ways to discuss it but I think they may be waiting for it to become well enough known and fresh.

5. They could do a parody of Washington Journal
Edited on Tue May-31-05 10:48 PM by cestpaspossible
where every caller talks about it, and Brian Lamb hangs up on every single one the second they mention it.

on edit: oh that's right, that's not a parody, it really happened...

6. I'm sure they have something planned
They can only cover so much in one night. Maybe they're saving it for a night with higher ratings. I'm not sure what the ratings are but I'm guessing it's higher on Wednesdays because of the South Park effect.

chin up. it took some time for the Watergate scandal to grow some legs too.

7. Made up for it with the guest.
I'm sure he won't let Bush's "defining moment" pass.

You might want to check their website...I seem to remember he covered both right before the reruns began.
