Geldof urges a million to march on G8

Bob Geldof has urged a million people to march on edinburgh during the G8 summit to call for action on global poverty at a press conference announcing details of the Live 8 concert.

Midge Ure urged school kids to bunk off school for a week and "walk to Scotland".

The plea wasn't just for Brits, Geldof has pleaded with people across the world to head to Scotland in July.

1. Well, if that many people show up, maybe they won't be able to

kill/abuse/torture so many protestors (as has occurred during other G8 protests).

3. The Italian government declared there would be no cover up of the murder

of the protester in Genoa. Anyone heard anything about it?

Also the Italian police were to be investigated for raiding an air craft hangar full of protesters singing fascist songs from the days of Mussolini, brain damaging one, beating hundreds to a pulp and threatening to rape the woman protesters.

hmmmm i bet it was a thorough investigation.
